Hanged flags and wisdom, 2011 / Malin Persson
Similair to Klee Persson uses the watercolour medium as a study and base to chart an orderly analysis of colour in relation to practical aspects of painting. The watercolours allow her to experiment with new ways of constructing the image, which results in a certain meta practice, wherein a different and possible new table of contents are set out. The human figure for example has always gained an important presence in the watercolours, but never really occurred in a painting before 'Woman hanging dress' and 'The Dress From Nature and The Male'.
